DESCRIPTION:Vinayaka Chavithi is the grandest annual festival celebrated at Sri Sri Sri Vijayaganapathi Temple\, located on Palakonda Road\, near Day & Night Junction\, Meher Nagar\, Srikakulam. During the festival\, the temple is beautifully decorated with colorful flowers\, lights\, and traditional decorations\, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere. Thousands of devotees visit the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Sri Vijaya Ganapathi\, who is worshipped as the remover of obstacles and the bestower of wisdom\, prosperity\, and success. \nFestival Highlights\n\n🛕 Ganapati Homam\, Maha Abhishekam\, and Shodashopachara Puja performed from the early morning.\n🌺 Special Alankaram with flowers\, garlands\, and ornaments for Lord Ganapathi.\n🍬 Offering of Modakams\, Undrallu\, Kudumulu\, Laddu\, and other traditional prasadam.\n🙏 Continuous Archana\, Harathi\, and Vedic chanting throughout the day.\n🎶 Bhajans\, devotional music\, and spiritual discourses.\n🍛 Annadanam (free community meal) for devotees.\n🚩 Cultural programs and devotional gatherings during the Ganesh Navaratri celebrations.\n🌊 Public Ganesh Nimajjanam (idol immersion) processions take place after the festival in different parts of Srikakulam town.\n\nSpiritual Significance\nDevotees believe that worshipping Lord Vijaya Ganapathi on Vinayaka Chavithi removes obstacles\, grants success in education\, careers\, business\, and family life\, and brings peace and prosperity.
