SUMMARY:Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Dance Competition
DESCRIPTION:As part of the nationwide “Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat” campaign\, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports is organizing the Thematic Dance Competition at the District\, State\, and National levels. The competition encourages youth to promote the message of a healthy\, responsible\, and addiction-free society through the powerful medium of dance while celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage.\nParticipants are invited to creatively express themes of social awareness\, discipline\, unity\, resilience\, and nation-building through dance. Suggested themes include “Parampara se Parivartan”\, “Rise Above Addiction”\, “Youth Power for Viksit Bharat”\, “From Darkness to Hope”\, “Unity in Diversity\, United for Nasha Mukt Bharat”\, and “Celebrating Life Through Culture\, Fitness & Positivity.”\nThe competition is open to youth aged 15–29 years from all Districts and States/UTs. Participants may compete as Solo\, Duo\, or Group (up to 10 members)\, with one entry per category. Performances may use songs in any Indian language and should be original or appropriately adapted with the necessary permissions.\nCompetition Format:\n• Duration: 4–8 minutes\n• Performance Styles: Classical\, Folk\, Contemporary\, Fusion\, or Creative Dance\n• Props: Simple hand-held props are permitted; hazardous materials are prohibited.\n• Background Music: Pre-recorded MP3 audio must be submitted in advance.\n• Stage Performance: Participants must perform within the designated stage area.\nPerformances must align with the theme of “Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat” and convey a positive social message.
