A new multipurpose indoor sports hall has been approved at Pathrunivalasa in Srikakulam district. The Union government sanctioned approximately ₹14 crore for the project under the Khelo India scheme. The proposed indoor hall will measure approximately 60 metres by 40 metres and is expected to have a height of around 12.5 metres.
