Sidiri Aarav Varma, the son of former Andhra Pradesh minister Sidiri Appalaraju, surrendered to the police in connection with a fatal road accident in the Palasa-Kasibugga area. The accident reportedly occurred near Kasibugga on the night of July 10, 2026. A 45-year-old shepherd named Dhanayya died after being struck by a motorcycle.
