The India Meteorological Department reported increased rain activity across north coastal Andhra Pradesh due to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal. The weather system was expected to produce additional rainfall for two to three days. Ichchapuram recorded five centimetres of rain during the reported 24-hour period.
